Our Process

DK Building is based in Liverpool and potential clients often have a recommendation from someone they know. The company has a significant online presence with good testimonials from our previous satisfied customers. Your initial enquiry will be answered promptly by Rose or Katy who will give you some information about how we work and what timescales we are currently working to.

We will ask for a description of the project you have in mind and any relevant documents or information you can give us. If initial discussions suggest we are a good match for you, we will arrange a convenient time for Daniel to visit. This is an important meeting to help clarify your ideas, get some technical advice and guidance, discuss budget and rough estimate for doing the job.

If everyone is happy and wishes to proceed we offer a full planning and specification service.
If you don’t already have plans we will introduce you to our architect Joe, for advice and help on planning permission requirements. He can measure up and create plans, drawings and 3D images to help you visualise your new space.

Our designer will work closely with you to create an online detailed room by room specification sheet. This is where you choose exactly what items and materials you want in your home.

At the end of this phase we will all know what is to be done and a final price can be agreed and a starting date set. We will sign a contract and set a starting date for the work.

At the agreed time, our foreman – Bartek, Marcin or Joe – and his team will arrive on site to start the first phase of the job. Throughout the work we continuously monitor what is happening and making sure we stay on track. Any changes to the scope of work which you request or which may be necessary will be discussed with you and logged separately.

The construction team work efficiently and continuously to ensure the project is completed as quickly as possible. They are always polite and respectful and will leave site clean and tidy at the end of the day. Our client’s safety and happiness are paramount.

There will be a site foreman and Daniel will be managing the project overall. During the building phase he and Rose are always available if you wish to speak to someone.  At the end of the job we hand over all relevant certificates and take photos or short videos of our work.

During this period we let you fully enjoy your new space while being only a phone call away if you find any small adjustments to make. Rose will contact you to double-check you are happy with our work and invite you to leave a review on our public profile.
