Design
We can provide sketches and 3D images that will help you visualise your new room and make decisions about the interior design. This is an exciting time for the client and we will make sure that you are completely satisfied with the proposed house extension.
Plan
Once you are happy with the drawings for your new extension, DK Building will specify materials and give you a written quotation. We will agree a time scale and starting date and work will be carried out efficiently and professionally in accordance with the schedule and with minimal disruption to the household.
Project manage
Liverpool based company DK Building will manage all aspects of your project from start to finish:
- Communicate with local authorities and other regulatory bodies on your behalf
- Liaise with Building Control officers who regularly inspect our work
- Obtain electrical certificates etc to demonstrate compliance with current legislation
- Advise client if party walls / boundaries may necessitate legal assistance
- Cooperate with water / energy companies when new supply is installed
- Adhere to specific regulations / guidelines set by Historic England or Conservation areas
- Deliver all relevant certificates / guarantees to client on completion of the job

We recently had a downstairs renovation completed by DK Building. This involved knocking through a wall, building a new utility room, new floor, blocking up a door, replacing radiators, and making a kitchen space ready for installers, as well as other numerous smaller jobs.
Throughout the whole process, DK were always professional, punctual, and polite. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they were very flexible when it came to new jobs that came up during the build. For example, they raised our kitchen floor level so it is on the same level as the dining room floor, even though this was not part of the original spec. They also installed our kitchen worktops when the originals fell through and we had to make alternative arrangements. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and would not hesitate to recommend them.
