Kitchens
We at DK Building understand that the kitchen is a special place for our clients. It is the heart of the home, the place where family and friends congregate and where memories are made.
DK Building ensures your dream kitchen will become a reality as we work closely with bespoke kitchen companies who will design and hand craft an exquisite kitchen
Every kitchen project we have undertaken in the Liverpool area has a story behind it.
Our initial meetings with a client will establish and clarify their goals and desires. With your ideas and our technical guidance and relevant suggestions we can help design, plan and build your perfect kitchen.
Case Study
Kitchen renovation
This property already had a shallow sunroom extension which was not large enough to hold a table and chairs. Changing family circumstances combined with their joint love of cooking prompted our clients to think about how to gain more kitchen space and a larger dining area.
The clients like the “outdoors/indoors” feel of a conservatory type of room – with lots of light and views out onto the garden. They decided to demolish the existing extension and build a new larger extension in its place.
This new extension had a flat roof with two large roof lights over the kitchen area and large windows on the external wall looking out over the garden. Standard double doors were chosen for the internal doorway into the existing dining room. You can see the end results in our gallery.
An extensive range of kitchen units and appliances have been built around two sides of a high seating area, so guests can sit and talk without getting in the cook’s way.
White painted walls and glossy tiles set off the matt finished azure blue kitchen units very successfully, enhancing the relaxing airy feel of the new space.
