Project management

We provide a “design and build” service listening to our clients and working with their ideas and choices. This can often help clients understand the full costs from the outset.
We will ensure all current regulations are complied with and communicate on your behalf with utilities suppliers, local planning authorities and heritage officers as required. We regularly receive referrals from architects who recognise our technical competence and good practices.

It is important to us that all financial dealings and legal obligations are transparent and fair. A current price guide will be found on the website and a clear schedule of payments will be itemised with invoices and receipts issued accordingly. Even if the client is on holiday or out of the country, information is shared online and regular photos and updates keep clients informed of the progress of the work.

We recently had a downstairs renovation completed by DK Building. This involved knocking through a wall, building a new utility room, new floor, blocking up a door, replacing radiators, and making a kitchen space ready for installers, as well as other numerous smaller jobs.
Throughout the whole process, DK were always professional, punctual, and polite. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they were very flexible when it came to new jobs that came up during the build. For example, they raised our kitchen floor level so it is on the same level as the dining room floor, even though this was not part of the original spec. They also installed our kitchen worktops when the originals fell through and we had to make alternative arrangements. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and would not hesitate to recommend them.
