Daniel’s Message

Do you know how much time you need to allow for your refurbishment project?

With so many variables, building projects are notoriously hard to deliver on time. Now we have new technology to help us with that. From last month all our clients receive a detailed Gantt chart: a special type of chart where you can see duration of each phase of the job and overall length of the project, before we start working. It is actually part of our specification phase. While the work is progressing we update this chart every week so we can all see where we are in terms of time estimate and real time.

With some projects lasting 6 months this weekly check helps us deliver jobs on time and helps our clients to see that their house transformation will someday end!

Joining The Team: Richard Price

We are delighted to introduce a new member of the team – our new Projects Manager. Richard started his career in the Army and has since held various supervisory roles in the construction industry. He has a very professional approach to his work and has already demonstrated his skills in planning, scheduling and running projects on site.

We at DK Building always work to high standards and Richard is no exception. When he’s not climbing scaffolding at work, he likes to go rock climbing and mountain biking.

Welcome Richard!

Richard Price

Thank you to all our clients for keeping us busy with some amazing projects and beautiful renovations.

“The work was outstanding. It’s exactly what I asked for. They came on time – just as they said – and worked all day, in spite of it being cold and damp. They just carried on until they had finished. They tidied up after themselves – as much as you can with cement on concrete! They were all very nice and polite – and they smiled all the time. I would definitely recommend Daniel and his team.”

“I would like to thank you for your time and effort and Daniel for his professionalism and invaluable advice.”

A Word Of Warning.

Does your Home Insurance cover you during building work?

If you are vacating your home while the builders move in to work, you should speak to your Home Insurance company to check that you have adequate cover during that period. They may impose additional conditions or temporarily increase the premium.

Our clients receive a copy of our insurance policy in the presentation folder we send them, but if you have any queries or concerns, please ask us. We can recommend a specialist insurance broker

See Our Work.

We invite you to like the DK Building page on Facebook. There you can see the projects we are doing or have done with a short description and photos or a video. Current events in the life of our company will also be posted there because, after all – it’s not just about work! Also you can visit our testimonial page we talk through our projects, that range from Garage conversions in Warrington to any form of house renovation.
