My clients had lived in their property for the a few years and instead of moving they chose to stay and update, upgrade and improve their house. They decided to extend and move the kitchen into the extension. This then involved remodelling the downstairs of the property to maximise the living space and make sure that it flowed and was suited to their lifestyle. The three bathrooms were all in need of modernisation and they were completely refurbished bringing them into line with the look and feel of the rest of the house.
The project was carefully managed to ensure that the works were completed in a timely manner and in a way that caused the least disruption to the family. Timeframes and schedules were discussed and agreed and the clients understood what was happening at every stage of the project. Daily updates were posted to Basecamp in order for the family to monitor and be reassured by the progress that was being made. Once the building phase was completed the whole property was re-decorated to complete the look. The work was finished on time, on budget and to a high standard in March 2016 and the clients were very happy with the finished appearance of their home.
